Spring Summer 2016 Makeup Trends.

For our final project, we have been asked to produce a fashion magazine cover based on SS/16 trends. So here are the latest trends on the catwalk for ss16.

To me the easiest way to see what is going on at the shows, is watching the catwalks online (YouTube). We can generally a contrast of very bright colors in the eyelids and lips with bare skin and no makeup look. Here are some images that have inspired me throughout  my research:

We can see a strong usage of blue throughout all the catwalks. Wether it is an eyeliner form, graphic design or a simple pop of color as Marc Jacobs would do, blue is the strongest trend we can see on every single catwalk. Also nude lips are still very in, we rarely see any other color.

Another strong trend is the graphic eyeliners, as well as pop of color on the eyelashes, always keeping the skin very natural, and nude lips:

The color on the eyelashes is one of my favourite ones, whoever the pop of blue on the eyes is also beautiful. Once again, keeping lips as nude as possible, maybe adding some glossiness to it but very lightly.

All these trends are my absolute favourite and the ones that I will definitely put in practice for my photoshoot. Here are some of my favourite shows for this season. Enjoy!
